Obliging

A pleasant Monday out in the field with Dibby and Cricket - with Max quiet next door in his paddock. We came in at four and Dad took me in the school. We shared with Rosa schooling and Cosmo being lunged.

We worked on most of the elements covered in Saturday's lesson with softening and loosening, flexions in and out, a little shoulder fore and in and some leg yield. In trot we concentrated on roundness and transitions nearly down to walk but not quite, a steady contact, stiller leg and softer hand when possible and cantered.

Other Dad watched which was helpful in being aware of straightness and level position. We came in after forty five minutes for a hose down, minties and tea. Dad was pleased I was more pliable by the end of the session. Sometimes, cobs are happy to oblige.
