Clips

Funny time of year: so wet and windy.

Dad hasn't been able to ride as much as usual recently owing to 'flu and such but he's better now and trying to get back into the swing of schooling again. After being shod we have both seen the dentist and yesterday were clipped by Auntie Becky. Dad said we looked very smart.

We were both well-behaved as usual and went into our stables after we had been brushed and sponged down for an early tea.

We showed we enjoyed our clips when we went out to graze first thing this morning. We both cantered off and did huge bucks. As I walked off Dibby had an energetic roll and jumped up with another buck and a loud squeak. Not bad considering his arthritis and at least two Danilon a day. Even very senior cobs don't lose their sense of fun.
