New shoes and sunshine

Richard, the farrier came this morning. He checked over my abscessed hoof and re-shod me all round. Dad applied Tecsin to my hooves especially to the holes where the abscesses had been. We will try to keep them clean and dry.

I went out to graze in the sunshine and was joined by Dibby when he had been shod.

I mutual groomed with him and later with Cricket, when he came out after shoeing. It was nice not to frighten them with the crackling of Dad's home-made poultice boot.

Cobs appreciate simple pleasures.
