This is quite a rare picture; it shows Dibby actually wearing his fly fringe in the two or three minutes before he artfully removes and discards it.

Another warm day. Given that I was schooled last night - after a fashion - and have a lesson tomorrow morning, I had the day off - spent grazing and standing in the corner of the field complaining about the flies.

We came in for a very quick hose down and tea at about 4 'o clock before Dad had a go at repairing some fences (not on this occasion damaged by us I hasten to add).

I will be glad when it's not so warm. Cobs enjoy being cool - especially me
